Dick Butkus and his son Matt formed I Play Clean to help educate parents, coaches, fans and athletes about the dangers of steroids. With a long-standing commitment to high school sports, Old Spice also understands the importance of playing clean, and formed a partnership with I Play Clean to develop the critical materials and useful tools you'll find on this site.

Here, you'll have easy, year-round access to a variety of resources at just the click of a button - including coaches' talking points, a reproducible school newsletter article, fact sheets and more - all designed to help spark conversations and offer appropriate solutions. As someone on the front lines with these students, you play a critical role in carrying these important messages. The I Play Clean toolkit materials were developed with a combination of resources, including anti-doping authorities, consumer marketing experts and anti-steroid advocates through the Taylor Hooton Foundation and Butkus Foundation.
